Howdy, enjoy your stay

Angela's likely off building
something, somewhere.

Angela is a designer, engineer, and entrepreneur driven by humans and our propensity for connection, and fascinated by how AI can augment that today. She has loved building things since she was a kid annoying her parents to try her upteenth bad invention — today, that creative urge has evolved into a natural affinity to build and launch products that are both-parts impactful and delightful. She likes to think through building, much like the building blocks of her custom Monument Valley inspired illustration here.

Currently, driving emerging AI experiences at Meta (the team behind AI glasses, multimodal proactive AI, live speech translation, and more 🤫) and advising startups in the space. Previously, founded a YC-backed AI productivity startup and built up responsible AI at Microsoft. Based in Seattle & SF 🌁.

Designer. Engineer. Founder.

01. About

From the doodles that covered the walls of her childhood room to the prototypes that fill her computer screen today, Angela's always loved creating things. Whether it be driving unannounced AI experiences to launch at Meta AI, founding a YC-backed AI productivity platform, advising startups in the space, or building responsible AI experiences 0-1 at Microsoft — she's long been fascinated by how AI can augment connection, and is committed to responsible AGI.

She's often leveraging the natural tension between design and engineering to build impactful things — in particular new solutions to age-old problems, which is precisely why she founded her startup: a new way to work that's both unified and intelligent, powered by AI. She cares deeply about crafting delightful, human-centric experiences to empower folks in their daily lives. She builds for users people.

Before these ventures, she conducted adversarial ML research on defending against deepfakes, solved design challenges for early-stage startups, and organized local hackathons in Chicago and Seattle. And before that, she founded an independent design and art studio, stemming from her first job as a curatorial intern at a contemporary art museum in Texas where she (fun fact!) grew up.

When she's not on Figma or VS Code, you can probably find her frolicking somewhere — exploring the city on 35mm 🎞️, cooking a lil too much, looking for the next shade of blue to jump in 🏊, updating her sole media these days, gushing about some random plant she spotted 🌲, or attempting to live sustainably.
